About MathHub Global
"Every student deserves access to high-quality math education, regardless of where they live or what they can afford. MathHub exists to make that possible."
What Is MathHub?
MathHub Global is a free online mathematics education platform serving students across four major educational systems: South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. We publish original textbook chapters with hundreds of worked examples, curate official past exam papers for convenient access, and provide study guides tailored to each curriculum.
All content on MathHub is free to access, with no registration required. Our goal is to serve as a reliable, high-quality reference that students can use alongside their school textbooks and official resources.

Our Textbook Content
MathHub's most distinctive feature is our collection of original, hand-written textbook chapters. These are not auto-generated summaries — every chapter is carefully written to include:
- Clear definitions and theorems with precise mathematical language
- Detailed worked examples — typically 10 to 20 per chapter, with step-by-step solutions
- Interactive Desmos graphs embedded directly in the page, so students can explore concepts visually
- Practice problems with collapsible solutions for self-study
- AP Exam tips and connections to how topics are tested
- Special topic sections covering material beyond the standard curriculum for deeper understanding
AP Calculus Textbook
Our flagship content series is the AP Calculus AB/BC Online Textbook. Written specifically for students preparing for the College Board AP Calculus exam, it covers all topics in the official curriculum across 9+ chapters, including:
- Limits and Continuity (Chapter 1)
- Derivatives and Differentiation Rules (Chapters 2–4)
- Applications of Derivatives — optimization, related rates, curve sketching (Chapter 5)
- Integration and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus (Chapters 5–6)
- Differential Equations — slope fields, Euler's method, logistic growth (Chapter 7)
- Parametric and Polar Curves (Chapter 8) [BC only]
- Infinite Series and Sequences (Chapter 9) [BC only]
Each chapter includes interactive Desmos visualizations and dozens of worked examples at the difficulty level of the actual AP exam.
UK A-Level Mathematics Textbook
We also publish a complete A-Level Mathematics textbook covering the AQA/Edexcel Year 1 and Year 2 syllabus, as well as a Further Mathematics series covering all 12 chapters of the Further Pure, Statistics, and Mechanics modules. These textbooks include university-level extensions beyond the A-Level curriculum.
Past Exam Papers
In addition to original content, MathHub provides convenient access to official past exam papers released by examination boards, including College Board (AP, SAT, PSAT), Cambridge Assessment (IGCSE, A-Level), and the Korean CICE (수능). All papers linked from our site are official, publicly released documents from the respective exam boards. We do not host copyrighted materials — we link directly to official sources.
Our Principles
- Accuracy first — all mathematical content is carefully reviewed for correctness. We use MathJax for precise typesetting of all formulas.
- Depth over breadth — we would rather have fewer, better chapters than many thin summaries.
- Free forever — MathHub is funded by advertising revenue. Our content will always remain freely accessible.
- No login required — students shouldn't need an account to access educational resources.
Technology
MathHub is built as a fast, lightweight static website. We use:
- MathJax v3 for high-quality mathematical typesetting in all browsers
- Desmos API v1.11 for interactive graphing calculator embeds
- Cloudflare Pages for global CDN delivery with fast load times worldwide
- Google Analytics for understanding which content is most useful to students
We deliberately keep the site simple and fast-loading, because many of our users access MathHub on mobile devices with limited bandwidth.
Who Runs MathHub?
MathHub Global is founded and maintained by Daniel Park, a mathematics educator based in Seoul, South Korea. With experience tutoring students across Korean, American, and British curricula, Daniel started MathHub to make high-quality math resources freely available to every student, regardless of location or budget.
